The gavel and bell pictured above is not the usual awe-inspiring landscape picture of Queenstown, but a significant piece of my family history . This was the gavel and bell owned by my grandfather, Clem Ireland who was an Auctioneer, Stock and Station Agent and a Real Estate Agent. Clem Ireland was also an ANZAC WWII veteran and the owner of Liverpool Auctions that sold a broad range of items including Real Estate.
For 20 years in South Western Sydney, NSW my Grandfather owned and operated Liverpool Auctions. My father also worked at the auction house for a number of years. My grandparents retired in Manly NSW, where I spent numerous summers on the beach growing up. I am carrying on the family tradition of working for an auction house and selling Real Estate. Only this time it's on a slightly different scale with New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty in Queenstown, New Zealand!
